It can do many good performance  enhancing things for you such as increasing your physical capacity, improving your performance in training and competition, improve the effect of training sessions, reduce the effect of over training and can improve your immune system to prevent illness and can also up your concentration levels.

Getting the balance right is also very important as well as achieving the right body weight which can increase muscle mass and decrease body fat. Plenty of carbohydrates are adequate also as well as proper hydration so drinking plenty of water can contribute greatly to your bodys overall nutrition.

Carbohydrates are an essential fuel for athletes. About 50 to 60% of your diet should come from carbohydrate based foods such as breads, rice, pasta and fruits.

Protein is also important for growth and daily repair of your body cells. Some high protein foods include red meat, chicken, fish, eggs, cheese, milk and yoghurts.
